Monday 8th June

Good Morning Year 3! I hope you are well and had a lovely weekend! Below is the work I would like you to complete today. Remember to send me any photos/videos/messages to show me what you have been up to or just send me a message to tell me you are ok.

P.E. - The Body Coach YouTube channel at 9am for your daily P.E. lesson with Joe.

Maths - Your Maths this week is on our class blog on the school website. I have put the link below for you. I would like us to have a go at progressing our skills with telling the time this week. It is very important we know this in upper key stage 2 and is a great life skill! We will progress from o’clock to gradually get more difficult through the week. For today, have a read through the o’clock PowerPoint and complete the worksheets that are labelled o’clock. You should have covered this in Year 2. The answers are on pages 3 and 4 (try not to look before and only use them to check later on). Answer on the sheets if you can print or in your blue book.
Challenge - could you draw your own clocks for me to solve what the time is in your book?

English - Your English is in your activities section today. Complete the noun phrases activity. You could write them in your book or respond to the activity.
Challenge - can you add more than one adjective to the sentence?

Geography - You will need your around the world in 80 days booklet for this activity. Complete the page that is labelled Canada fact file. What can you find out about The NiagaraFalls? You could start your sentences with numbers like that example. Complete on paper or in your blue book.

Spend time on an app of your choice.

Check your activities section for daily challenges and things to do.
BBC Bitesize are doing 3 lessons a day for all year groups. You can do the Maths, English or afternoon activity at any time.
Reading- David Walliams live story at 11am. Listen later in the day if you are choosing one of the live lessons.

Have a great day everyone! Stay safe!
