13th October

Date: 13th Oct 2016 @ 4:26pm

Well we have nearly finished yet another busy week!

Year 6 have been fantastic this week as we have been completing some really challenging division problems! They have been great when applying their knowledge and extending their learning. We have been looking at a variety of methods to solve different problems. It has been great to see their positive attitudes and it would really help if they practised at home or in their own time.

Sadly, we have finished our coaching with Grant from the Widnes Vikings; I know the children have really enjoyed the fun games he has played with them over the last five weeks.

Tomorrow, we will all be taking part in the Marathon Challenge in order to raise money for competitions during the school year.

Next week, Year 6 will be going swimming Tuesday - Friday. They must make sure they have their kit in each day and suitable clothing for going to and from the leisure centre as it is getting cold!

It has been great to see lots of children practising skills at home and building on their times table knowledge and their spellings - keep it up Year 6!
