Happy Wednesday everyone,

This week we are back to normality. It is been very busy coming back from the fun of Christmas and the Christmas holidays, to swimming everyday for two weeks. The children have definitely had to get their minds around having to work in the mornings again, ha ha.

It has been so lovely to see the children start to write their independent newspaper articles. Everybody is really engaged with the storyline and we are hoping to make it so believable that Mr McConnell thinks that our headline is true!

Maths has also required a lot of concentration as we are at the end of Chapter 4, bringing with it some of the Chapter reviews! I always feel so proud when the children have a growth mind-set, and challenge themselves to just 'have a go' even if some of the questions are tough and requre lots of brain power!

On to PE. Miss Hopkins has set us a challenge to create our own Key Stage 2 fitness video! Year 4 are doing aerobics and it was so much fun today! The children are going to come up with their own routines!

We are going to be doing some gardening next week- woohoo! If any of you have any gardening gloves that the children can use, that will be great.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Green

P.S PE times are back to normal now: Mondays (outdoor) and Thursdays (indoor)!
