Hello everybody.

On Friday, we went into our school garden for the first time, and it was so much fun! We cleared out all of the weeds and got everything ready. It's quite hard for us with it being so cold, but we have lots of ideas and can't wait to do more next week!

We have started fractions in Maths, and the children are all having such a growth mindset with it; challenging themselves to break down the images that they can see. They have started to experiment with mixed numbers too. Try a little practise at home!

In English, the ideas for our stories are so funny! We have discovered a shrinking machine that is going to shrink our characters into someone's digestive system, BUT... a problem has to happen! ha ha.

We also had a look at the diets and food types from the Tudor times, and how it is different to what we eat today. It was so interesting hearing the children debate which times were better for us. Then, the children created a menu for a party fit for the king!

Take a look at our gardening pictures below! Have a good weekend!

Miss Green.
