3rd November

Date: 3rd Nov 2016 @ 8:59am

Nearly another week over and time is flying!

We have had another busy week with swimming; all of the children have been absolutely fantastic! I am one proud teacher when I see them challenging themselves and supporting others. We even had some brilliant sychronised swimming performances yesterday!

Despite being very tired from swimming, the children have not stopped their hard work in the classroom. This week, we have been writing explanation texts. The children have been introduced to their new topic (Ancient Egypt) and have found out about how pyramids were built. They have written some fantastic informative explanations!

Yesterday afternoon, the children worked in houses. All of the teachers told me how pleased they were with the behaviour and support of the Year 6 children during the afternoon - always great to hear!

Please don't forget our parents' afternoon/evening is Tuesday 8th November. If your meeting is before hometime, you are more than welcome to pick your child up when your appointment is finished. As we have a class of 30, all of the time slots will be filled so please make sure you are on time for your appointment or call the office to let them know of any changes!

Another reminder that the first deadline for residential is tomorrow. If this is a problem for whatever reason, please do not hesitate to let me know!
