Good morning everyone,

Please choose one English and one Maths activity to complete each day, try to choose a different activity every day. If you want to do more than one activity you can but this is optional. We love seeing your work so please put something on Seesaw each day, either one of the activities we have set or something else that you have done.

For today’s work we have set English, Maths and PSHE/Music.

Can you put two ‘ie’ and ‘wh’ words into a sentence?

Read a book and see if you can find any words with 'wh' and 'ie' in, don’t worry if your book does not have words with these sounds in.

Can you play on 'Teach your Monster to Read' for 20 minutes.

Our class log in is: https://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/u/2717251

This should take you to our page and then your child can log in using their name.

Use the link below to watch Speed Sound/Word Time & Spelling lessons that you can practise your sounds; they are live at 10am & 10:15am for Set 2 sounds then  at 10:30am & 10:45am for Set 3 sounds.

There are also Storytime Sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:00pm, use the link above.

Can you play numbots for 20 minutes, you will find your login details in the pack sent home.

Practise your number bonds to 10 then 20. You could even time yourself to see how fast you can write them and see if you were quicker than last time!

Remember we are using the White Rose Maths.

This week we're going to be working through Summer Term – Week 4 (w/c 11th May) of these activities. Try the Friday challenge! You can even check your own answers when you're done (but no cheating) If you get something wrong, try to figure out what you've done! Use paper/book to write down your answers. There's one for each day. Please don't do Summer term week 5 yet, as that will be our work for next week!

Still thinking about the weather! Can you think about the sound the weather makes and how it makes you feel. e.g. sun makes youhappy, rain makes you sad, wind makes you want to runabout. Can you make sounds to show your feelings using your body, voice or something from home? Do you know any songs about the weather? Remember to carry on recording the weather each day on your weather chart.

Other suggestions:

P.E. Join in with Joe Wicks at 9am, if not can you hop, skip, bunny hop and jump around your garden if the weather is nice. A walk or a bike ride is good exercise too. You could try to do some zumba on Go Noodle.

Stay Safe and remember to post your work on Seesaw so we can keep in touch.
