Road Safety

Date: 19th Sep 2016 @ 7:14pm

This week, lots of Year 6 will be completing their Bike Ability Level 1 and 2.

The rest of the class will have an introduction to being safe on their bikes but will look at road safety in a little more detail.

There are loads of resources available online to learn about road safety and I have included a few links so children can learn at home!

http://talesoftheroad.direct.gov.uk/ This site aims to get children to think seriously about the consequences of failing to follow road safety guidelines.

Obviously, Year 6 children will become more and more independent as the year goes on. Most will be making their own way to school next year so it is important to allow them time to learn and practise safely!
