Spring Detectives

Date: 28th Mar 2017 @ 1:53pm

Today Year 1 children have been detectives! We went outside and looked for signs of Spring in our Learning Wood and in our school garden.

We looked at the plants and trees getting new leaves. The magnolia bush at the front of school has leaf buds and flower buds. What colour will the flowers be?

Some children recognised the yellow daffodils all standing to attention. Daisies were spotted on the grass and we even have a hyacinth in the garden. Have you seen them?

The trees have blossom beginning to grow and it is very exciting.

Can you keep your eyes peeled and search for signs of Spring over the next two weeks and tell us all about it after the Easter holiday?
