4th May

Date: 4th May 2016 @ 3:43pm

We have had a busy week this week! On Friday, our girls had their football session with Adam and in the afternoon we all enjoyed some indoor cricket. This week, the girls will be preparing for their cricket tournament on Monday 16th May at Moorfield Cricket Club.

It was interesting to hear what everybody had been getting up to over their bank holiday weekend and they are all very excited to have tomorrow off!

In English, we have been continuing to use Ratatouille and the children have written some excellent diary entries in character. In maths, we have been working hard to develop our written methods for multiplication and division and I have been encouraging the children to use the voiceover feature on our class blog to talk through their working - it would be great to see more!

In computing, we have set up our own websites where the children are writing all about their favourite things! If they know the web address, you can access this from home!

Next Monday, we are off to Tesco for a Farm to Fork visit. They will be finding out more about where their food comes from and thinking about sustainability. They will even get to try some new foods!

Our next homework quiz is this Friday and we will be looking at square numbers, 3, 4 and 7 times tables and the spelling of all numbers. We have seen results improving every week and I hope to see an improvement this week!

Let's hope we have a great week!
