World Book Week!

Date: 2nd Dec 2016 @ 3:55pm

Hi Everyone!

Year 5 have had a fantastic week celebrating World Book Week! We have been focusing on the book 'The day the crayons quit' with the children producing some fantastic diary writing and letters from the crayons to Duncan! Yesterday, we visited Ditton library which was great fun! The class spent time coding their own game on the computers and developing their research skills.

This week we came to an end with our multiplication and division topic with everyone developing a great range of methods to solve problems. Our focus for next week is word problems!

Unfortunatley, today was our final day swimming at Halewood Leisure Centre. Year 5 have had a fantastic 2 weeks developing their swimming skills with some great progress made by all, well done!

Year 5 have been working hard on our christmas song for our Christmas festival next Friday! The class have been working really hard on the words in class to prepare for the day! Some extra practice at home would be great!

Have a nice weekend, thanks for reading our blog!
