Finally, Year 4 are back to normality and I am back in class after covering the Year 6 class for two weeks. It was really interesting to see in action the level of work that we are aiming for when the children leave our school up close and personal, but I definitely missed my Fantastic Four!
This week, we have had so much fun. On Monday, we made 'Rainforest Smoothies'. We researched the different foods that could be found in the Amazon forest, and we went into the learning wood to find them! The children wern't too keen on them (eventhough they were just fruit and chocolate)!
Throughout the week, we have then been researching, planning and writing our own (really detailed) recounts of our afternoon. We have nearly finished writing them up and the work is beautiful!
In Maths, we have been re-capping some of our basic methods, as it has been a while since we touched on the addition and subtraction units.
We have started practising for our Easter Play today. Every child has a job to do!
I also want to say well done to the Year 4 girls who represented us today at the Year 4 Halton football tournament at OCA high school. We were runners up in the whole tounament! Wow!
Have a lovely weekend everybody,
Miss Green :)
