Year 4 2023 - 2024
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break.
This is a short half term and we have lots to learn!
In English we will be reading 'Weslandia' and 'Baker by the Sea'.
In Science we will be learning about 'Living things and their Habitats'. In History we are continuing to learn about the 'Romans' and what their lives were like.
Time is ticking as the 'Multiplication Times Table Check' is approaching so daily practice at home and school is important.
Our PE day is Tuesday so make sure you come to school in your full PE kit, black shorts/ leggings/ tracksuit bottoms, your house colour PE top and a school hoody/ cardigan/ jumper. Sensible trainers are important to avoid injuries.
Our homework will be given out on a Friday and needs to be returned the following Friday please. You will have homework for spellings and times tables which can be accessed online and to be done daily. A few minutes a day will greatly increase your knowledge. We will also send home paper copies of the spellings. Daily reading is to be done and you can do this from your school reading books.
