Hello everyone,

This week is our last week of swimming lessons, and the children have really enjoyed themselves. It has been so lovely to watch the children's swimming skills improve day by day and to see their confidence grow. The staff at the swmming baths have all commented on how lovely the children have been. I am so proud of them.

In English, we are close to writing our own newspaper articles. It is a suprise what they are about yet, but it links to our theme 'Inner Space'. I just know that they are going to be fantastic, and will upload some of the children's work when they are complete!

In Maths, we are working on formal division at the moment. It is hard stuff, but the children are really throwing themselves into it and it is so nice to see that they are not intimidated by just having a go at all of these methods!

Due to swimming, time for other subjects have been limited. However, the children have started to think about the different teeth in Science, and we made a timeline of anatomical advances from BC in Theme!

Next week we will be back to normal. I am going to be doing some hockey with the children which will be great fun. We will be thinking about some of the stories of Jesus in RE, and moving on to the next unit in our Latin scheme. In Computing, we will be thinking even more about newspapers!

Maths homework is going home today, as well as a more in-depth overview of the learning that will be happening this half-term so that you can help your children even more at home.

Dates for the sharing assemblies will be uploaded as soon as they are confirmed.

Thank you!
