11th May

Date: 11th May 2016 @ 3:12pm

Hello and welcome back to our class blog,

This week, Year 5 started off by visiting Tesco. During their trip to Tesco, they found out about different kinds of fruit and where they are from. We also met a new friend called Chellee - the children loved her! While we were at Tesco, we met a man called 'Tiny' - ironically, he was huge!

In class, we have been learning a little bit about fractions and we will be looking at this again next week. Below, is a video that could help.

Year 5 have continued with their cricket and the girls  worked extra hard in another session to get ready for their competition on Monday.

We have continued to use Ratatouille in English and this week we have written a restaurant review. We are also going to write some instructions and see if our Reception children are able to follow them.

This week will see our boys playing against St Clement's Primary School from Runcorn (weather dependent).

On Friday, the boys will be playing football during assembly time. Children have taken a letter home this evening to inform you that there will be no Playleader's club until after half term.

Have a great week!
