Welcome back Year 6!

We have had a busy two weeks already (almost!) and I am so proud of how hard you are working as you revise for your SATs.  Well done to all who are attending extra revision clubs and doing lots of extra work at home - keep it up!

Remember also that we are running a mile every day so it is important that you are bringing PE kit and trainers in.  We are doing this in order to continue promoting a healthy attitude towards exercise and food.  We have learnt lots about sugar this week and I would encourage you to download the Sugar APP to help you make better choices.

Please ensure that during these busy weeks, you read nightly, practise spelling nightly and use 'I am Learning' where you can to support your revision.  If you have any questions about anything you are struggling with, make sure you see me!

Miss Greenwood

P.S - I have uploaded some short animations to help you improve your reading skills like we have been doing in class.  You could also click on this link to learn more about sugar.
